Europe / Commercial representation

A consistent commercial presence between the first approach and the next decision.

International opportunities often fail between conversations. I provide selected companies with disciplined local research, communication and follow-through.

IIThe approach

Commercial representation can provide continuity for a foreign company that is not ready to establish a local team. The mandate may focus on a defined territory, target-account group, distributor network or early-stage opportunity pipeline.

My role is agreed precisely. It can include identifying and approaching counterparties, presenting the approved proposition, coordinating responses and maintaining momentum. It does not imply legal authority to bind the client unless separately and lawfully documented.

IIIWhat the work can include
I

Local account research

Maintain a current, reasoned view of the organisations and decision-makers relevant to the territory.

II

Approved representation

Present the company and proposition consistently within a clearly documented commercial mandate.

III

Pipeline development

Open, organise and advance selected conversations while recording objections and market feedback.

IV

Leadership reporting

Provide concise opportunity status, evidence, risks and recommended decisions rather than activity alone.

IVA considered process
  1. I

    Set authority and limits

Agree territory, responsibilities, approved claims, reporting, confidentiality and matters reserved to the client.

  2. II

    Prepare the market presence

Align materials, target profiles, response process and specialist questions before external approaches.

  3. III

    Develop relationships

Create relevant contact, maintain follow-up and coordinate information between the parties.

  4. IV

    Review against evidence

Assess pipeline quality, market feedback and whether the mandate should deepen, change or conclude.

VFrequently asked questions
Is this the same as appointing a legal commercial agent?+

Not automatically. The legal status, authority and compensation structure must be reviewed and documented by qualified counsel where relevant.

Can representation be limited to one project or territory?+

Yes. A narrow scope is often preferable at the beginning because it makes responsibilities and evidence clearer.

Do you negotiate contracts?+

I can support communication and commercial continuity, but contractual negotiation authority and legal advice remain with the client and its qualified advisers.

How is progress reported?+

Reporting can cover target accounts, contact status, material feedback, active questions, risks and agreed next actions.
